DILJIT DOSANJH IS COMING BACK AS A JUDGE IN THE SECOND SEASON OF ‘RISING STAR’

“Rising Star” is the first ever Live Singing Reality Show of one of the most popular Hindi Entertainment Channel “Colors”. The Super Singh of Punjabi Music Diljit Dosanjh was the celebrity judge of the show along with Shankar Mahadevan and Monali Thakur in the first season of the show. Now, Diljit Dosanjh is all set for a comeback on the small screen once again as the judge of the singing reality show “Rising Star” for the Season 2.

Diljit Dosanjh confirmed about this in an interview. He said, “Yes, I will be a part of the Rising Star again. Last year I had a blast doing the show, which threw up so many, budding talents. The search for the next great voice is what has urged to me to take this up in the next season as well.”

This show will go on air early next year and will replace the current running show “Bigg Boss 11” on Saturday and Sunday. The winner of the first season of “Rising Star” was Bannet Dosanjh from Punjab. Diljit dosanjh has been requesting people to participate in the show through his social networking sites. Diljit is also in limelight these days for his recently released song “El Sueno” from his upcoming movie “Sajjan Singh Rangroot” with the very talented singer turned actress Sunanda Sharma. This film is based on World War.

He has also signed various projects for Hindi and Punjabi Entertainment. He is currently shooting for Bollywood movie “Flicker Singh”, which is a biopic of former Indian Hockey Captain Sandeep Singh with Tapsee Pannu and Prakash Jha. He is also doing another Bollywood movie “Arjun Patial” with Kriti Sanon which is reportedly a comedy movie.
