His song "Soch" gave him recognition and appreciation worldwide. He never looked back in his life. He is counted amongst the top singers of the Music Industry. His many tracks like "Backbone" and "Blow Horn" came a few months back but are still running on YouTube successfully. Theses are getting more and more views by each passing day. His latest track "Yaar Ni Mileya" has broken all records for him. He has got an overwhelming response for this song. Hardy Sandhu is well known for his singing talent but very few people are aware that he was an A-Class cricketer and wanted to join the Indian Cricket Team. His aim was to represent Indian Cricket Team at an International Level. But, destiny has something else for him. He got a serious injury, due to which he could not fulfill his dream of becoming a cricketer. He told the media in an interview with PTC Punjabi that cricket is his first love so he will really love to play a role of a cricketer on screen. He was asked that which cricketer would he like to play? To which he replied that if he has to work in biopic of any cricketer, he would to play Yuvraj Singh.
