'KING OF POP' DALER MEHNDI TO RENDER HIS POWERFUL VOICE TO 'SUI DHAAGA'

Known as ‘King of Pop’, Daler Mehndi is considered to have one of the most compelling vocals in industry. Though Daler Mehndi does not lend his voice to many projects, his tracks always manage to leave an impact across generations. His songs in films like ‘Rang De Basanti, Babubali or Mirzya’ not only made an incredible input in films’ success but made him the first choice for giving the lyrics a powerful voice.

Credited for making ‘Bhangra’ popular worldwide, Daler Mehndi will next render his voice to Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer, Sui Dhaaga. Produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Sui Dhaaga is being directed by ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ famed Sharat Katariya.

Daler Mehndi’s last musical outing was recreation of his own song from the film Arjun Pandit ”Kudiyan Sheher Diyan” which was revamped for the Deol brothers starrer Poster Boys in 2017. His Baahubali track was the most streamed song on Google Music app last year.
