In a proud moment for India, Haryana’s 20 year old Manushi Chhillar won the Miss World 2017 title at a grand event in China. It’s only after 17 years that Manushi Chhillar’s win has ended the country’s dry spell at the coveted event. Manushi, who happens to be a medical student surpassed top five contestants from England, France, Kenya and Mexico. publive-image During the round, when asked which profession according to her deserved the highest salary, Manushi replied saying,  “I think a mother deserves the highest respect and when you talk about salary it's not always about cash but I feel it's the love and respect that you give to someone. My mother has always been the biggest inspiration in my life.” publive-image This is to be remembered that Aishwarya Rai had bagged India’s first Miss World title in 1994 and the last title was won by Priyanka Chopra in 2000.
