NAWAZUDDIN SHARES THE HEART TOUCHING ANECDOTES OF HIS MOTHER IN 'AN ORDINARY LIFE'

‘An Ordinary Life’, the biographical memoir of one of the most respected actors in the Hindi film industry, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is full of interesting facts about the actor’s life. Wherein a few days back, the actor was marred in a controversy for revealing the intimate details of his short love affair with his co-star Niharika Singh from film ‘Miss Lovely’, Nawazuddin is now in news for sharing some heart-touching anecdotes about his mother Mehrunnisa.

Talking about his mother in ‘An Ordinary Life’, the actor goes on to share how his Ammi educated around 150 girls in their village. The actor says “In fact even today, Ammi can be found teaching four or five girls. Her voice can be heard across the corridors correcting the pronunciation of simple words like Raheem and stressing over the phonetic perfection of the ‘r’ and the ‘z’ sounds. Naturally, she taught me Arabic as well. I am so fluent that I understand Middle Eastern films perfectly, I don’t need subtitles.”

Talking about how his Ammi went to the Jeweller to pawn her ornaments so could pay a deposit for his school, it seems that all the sacrifices of his mother have finally paid off.
