Punjabi Cinema’s Fresh On Screen Couples Of Year 2018

Punjabi Cinema is offering movies in 2018 that are making the Punjabi audiences contented. New pairs and good films are the new trend of 2018 for Punjabi Film Industry. We have lot many fresh on screen pairs this year in Punjabi Film Industry that are looking very promising in terms of delivering entertainment. Pollywood is showing the unseen level of creativity and some outstanding scripts to offer to its audiences. This year Pollywood has given a good start to the cinema world.

“Laavan Phere” released in February. Sameep Kang helmed the movie and brought a fresh pair of Roshan Prince and Rubina Bajwa. Roshan Prince has done a couple of movies before but Rubina did her Pollywood debut with this movie. Their on screen chemistry worked and people gave a huge response to the movie. The grand success of movie made the makers to announce the sequel of the movie in February 2019.

The recently released movie “Laung Laachi” screened Neeru Bajwa and Amberdeep Singh. Amberdeep Singh is an established director of Punjabi Cinema and he has proved with his acting that he is not less than any talented actors of the Film Industry. Neeru Bajwa and Amberdeep Singh won people’s heart with their unbeatable screen performance and the movie got superhit.

“Rangroot” is the much awaited movie of Punjabi Film Industry in today’s date. The movie is releasing on 23 March. Diljit Singh calls this movie as his Dream Project. The “Pataka” fame Sunanda Sharma is doing her Pollywood debut with Diljit Singh in “Rangroot”. Have you noticed one thing common in above mentioned projects? We will tell you. We have at least one of the two leads who have done their Pollywood debut. Well! Amberdeep and Rubina have successfully done this. Will Sunanda Sharma be also following this hit league? Answers will be given after the release of movie.

Gippy Grewal and Aditi Sharma are coming together in “Subedar Joginder Singh”. This movie is made on Indo-China war. This movie is having many other artists who are engaged with Punjabi Entertainment Industry. Kulwinder Billa is amongst the talented singers of Punjabi Music Industry. He is doing his Pollywood debut with movie “Subedar Joiginder Singh”. Gippy and Aditi have worked in many films but they have been paired together for the first time in a project. The movie is slated to release on 6 April.

Now we have another new onscreen pair which is very different. We are talking about Tarnvir Jagpal’s upcoming movie “Daana Paani”. It has brought together very dashing and charming Jimmy Shergil along with innocent and bubbly Simi Chahal. The movie is beautifully penned by Jass Grewal and produced by Nanokey Studios. The movie is scheduled to release on 8 May 2018.

One more new on screen couple that will blow up your mind is Ranjit Bawa and Mandy Takher. You have guessed that right. It’s “Khido Khundi”. This movie is the first Punjabi Movie made on Hockey. This movie is promising to bring entertainment packed with romance and drama. Mandy and Ranjit have already worked in Punjabi Cinema. Now, will people love their on screen chemistry? We really don’t know. The movie is releasing on 20 April 2018.

And to add to the list we have Neeru Bajwa and Amrit Maan for their latest announced project “Aate Di Chidi”. Amrit and Neeru will be sharing screen space for the first time for Harry Bhatti’s “Aate Di Chidi”. The movie will be comedy based that will trigger the general issues in humorous way. But, here we have to look if Neeru and Amrit will together be loved by audiences or not. So, let’s wait for the movie to release.
