Jimmy Shergill is one such Punjabi artist who, unlike other Punjabi stars, made his Pollywood debut after establishing himself in Hindi Film Industry. The actor, who started his Bollywood journey with 1996 release ‘Maachis’, took nine long years to make his first appearance in Punjabi film ‘Yaaran Naal Baharan’. After the success of his last Punjabi film ‘Jindua’, Jimmy Shergill is currently shooting for ‘Daana Paani’.

Being directed by Taranveer Singh Jagpal, known for directing 'Rabb da Radio', Daana Paani’s story has been helmed by acclaimed writer ‘Jass Grewal’. Jass Grewal has written the stories for blockbuster movies like ‘Bambukat, Saab Bahadar, Bailaras and Rabb Da Radio’ and is considered one of the most talented writers from Industry who’s known for his thorough research and understanding of Punjabi heritage.

While Jimy Shergill was seen clad in a Kurta Pyjama, our very own Gurpreet Ghuggi was seen on a bicycle enjoying the landscape in district Morinda.
