WHAT MAKES 'SUBEDAR JOGINDER SINGH' A SPECIAL FILM

Gippy Grewal’s upcoming movie “Subedaar Joginder Singh” is the much talked about subject in the Punjabi Entertainment Industry. Gippy Grewal is working for a biopic for the first time. “Subedaar Joginder Singh” is a biopic based on the life story of “Param Vir Chakra” recipient Subedaar Joginder Singh. He was the hero who fought bravely against the Chinese forces at Tawang in October 1962.

This season has brought the new flavours in the Punjabi Cinema too. Different subjects and Biopics are made in Pollywood now. This film is bringing a special significance that is highlighting the situation on the borders and the sacrifices that our soldiers did against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. Gippy Grewal is playing the lead role of Subedaar Joginder Singh with the leading lady Aditi Sharma.

Gippy Grewal will be seen in a never seen avatar in this movie, as he has to shed around 20-25 kgs of his body weight. There are some interesting features that adds the glory of the film. We all know that the famous and outstanding singer of Punjabi Music Industry Kulwinder Billa is doing his debut with this film. Also, one more very talented singer is doing his debut with Gippy Grewal. And the name is Rajvir Jawanda. So, this has become a multi starrer movie which is waited with excitement by all the people. The movie is produced by Sumeet Singh of Unisys Infosolutions and Saga Music. The movie is getting ready under the direction of Simarjit Singh. He has almost completed its 3-4 schedules of shooting. And the movie will be hitting the theatres early next year.
