20-Yr-Old Manjeet Uses Turban To Save Bleeding Woman Hit By A Truck In Kashmir
In a heart-warming gesture, a 20-year-old man used his turban as an instant Band-Aid to save the life of a woman who was lying bleeding after being hit by a truck near Awantipora area of Srinagar.
The boy has been identified as Manjeet Singh. He hails from Dewar area in Tral.
According to the media reports, a 45-year-old woman was hit by a speeding truck in Awantipora leaving her injured. Her leg was badly bleading and the truck didn’t stop. Manjeet then rescued her by using his turban to stop blood loss.

“I saw her lying on the road, with blood coming out of her leg,” recalls Manjeet. “I could not resist using my own turban to plug the wound,” KashmirLife quoted Manjeet as saying.
“I did what anyone else in my place would have done,” added Manjeet.
