290 Killed In Sri Lanka Bombings: Sunny Deol To Sukshinder Shinda, Celebs Condemn The Attacks

Soon after over 250 people lost their lives in almost eight serial blasts in Sri Lanka on Sunday morning, many celebrities including Sunny Deol, Anushka Sharma, singer-composer Sukshinder Shinda, Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and many others took to their respective social media handles to condemn the attacks and send their condolences to people who lost their lives.

Sunny Deol shared an Instagram story in which he mentioned: “Pray for Sri Lanka.”

Jacqueline Fernandez, who is from Sri Lanka, took to Twitter to express grief. She wrote, "Extremely sad at the news of bombings in Sri Lanka. It’s unfortunate that one is not able to see that violence is like a chain reaction. This has to stop!"

Singer-composer Sukshinder Shinda to expressed his grief and wrote: “Deeply saddened and shocked to know about the attack in #SriLanka My heart goes out to the members of the family. #waheguruji.”

Singer Mika wrote:  “Heartbreaking news from #SriLanka today..We stand in solidarity with all those affected at this difficult time of grief. May God give strength to the families who have lost their dear ones. My thoughts and prayers with them.”

Priyanka took to her Twitter handle to condemn the attack she wrote: “Heartbreaking scenes from #Srilanka. A day of celebration turned into one of tremendous loss. My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone affected by these horrific attacks.”

No group has yet claimed direct responsibility for the eight bombings that ripped through churches and hotels, mostly in the capital Colombo, on Sunday.
