Ajay Devgn first appeared on screen 30 years ago, straddling two motorcycles with the attitude of a superstar. And the superstar moniker has stuck to him for the past 30 years, and in a big way! Today marks the 30th year of the actor's career in the film industry, during which he has built an empire and amassed legions of adoring followers.
Akshay Kumar posted an unseen photo from the sets of Sooryavanshi with Ajay Devgn, in which the two actors were dressed as officers and laughing heartily. Kumar wrote in the caption that he used to take martial arts training with Ajay when they first met and that their connection has stayed strong throughout the years.
Congratulating on completion of 30 years in the industry, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Mujhe yaad hai when as newbies, main aur tu saath saath Juhu beach pe martial arts practice karte the when your dad used to train us (I still remember the days when we as newbies would practice martial arts on Juhu beach when your dad used to train us).”
While responding to Akshay’s compliment, Ajay Devgn stated, “Thanks Akki, we’ve shared a long innings. And, I’m happy & grateful for your presence alongside,” he wrote.
To note, Akshay and Ajay, who have previously worked together in films such as Suhaag, Insan, and others, were recently seen in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi. Though Akshay Kumar portrayed the lead in the film, Ajay played Bajirao Singham in a cameo appearance.
Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor, also wished Ajay Devgn a happy birthday, appreciating him not only for his work but also for his off-screen persona.
