Mehar Mittal is known for his commendable acting skills and incomparable sense of humor. He was a prominent and well-known face in Punjabi movies for over four decades. He worked in more than 300 movies and also ruled the small screen too. He started his film career with ‘Sacha Mera Roop Hai’ in 1974.

The veteran actor born in a Bathinda village on October 24, 1935, and he breathed his last on 22^nd October 2016. He died due to prolonged illness at a hospital in Mount Abu, Rajasthan.
