550th Prakash Purab Of Guru Nanak Dev Ji: Delhi Government To Lift Odd-Even Rule On November 11, 12

The third edition of odd-even rule started on November 4, and the government has relaxed the restriction on November 11 and November 12 for the celebration of 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced in a press conference that commuters in the national capital will not have to face the Odd-Even scheme on November 11 and 12 due to the celebration of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Speaking to the media, Kejriwal said the decision came after people from the Sikh community requested the government to relax the rules as they celebrate the birth anniversary of their faith's founder on November 12.

Meanwhile, the odd-even rule will continue till November 15.
