AFTER 'FIRANGI', MONIKA GILL TO APPEAR IN J.P. DUTTA'S MUCH ANTICIPATED WAR FILM 'PALTAN'

After portraying the role of an Oxford University returned princess in Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Firangi’, Monika Gill is all set to play a challenging role in J.P Dutta’s much anticipated war movie ‘Paltan’. With a huge star cast of Suniel Shetty, Sonu Sood, Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat, Siddhanth Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Gurmeet Choudhary, Monika Gill is rumored be paired opposite Harshvardhan Rane who plays a Lieutenant Colonel in the film.

The report added that although Monica has been cast as Harshvardhan’s love interest in the film, her character plays a prominent role in the story. Recipient of multiple beauty awards like Miss India Worldwide (2014) and Miss India USA (2013), Monika Gill made her Pollywood debut with Diljit Dosanjh in the 2016 film Ambarsariya.

Known for his multi-starrer war epics, J.P. Dutta has given us classics such as LOC Kargil, Refugee and Border and ‘Paltan’ will mark his long-awaited comeback after 2006’s Umrao Jaan starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
