Ahead Of 550th Prakash Purab, Ranjit Bawa Wishes 'Gurpurab' With His New Song

Well-known Punjabi singer, Ranjit Bawa, has started the year 2019 by releasing a religious song 'Gurpurab'. Penned down by Maninder Kailey and directed by Happy Singh, the music of the song is provided by Desi Routz.

Ahead of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, Ranjit Bawa wishes Gurpurab to everyone through his song.

Ranjit Bawa is popular for songs like 'Yaari Chandigarh Waliye', 'Chandigarh Returns', and 'Meri Sardarniye' among many other hit singles. He has been connected to songs since childhood and had always planned to do big in Punjabi music industry with his love for folk songs.

The singer rose to fame with his hit single 'Jatt Di Akal', which made him win PTC Best Folk Oriented Song in 2013. Apart from giving hit singles and albums to the Punjabi music industry, Bawa had made his place in Punjabi movie industry too in nearly no time.

Earlier, Union Cabinet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has passed a resolution for the celebration of 550th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in November this year, across the globe.

Religious activities will be organised all over the country, to celebrate 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji this year.
