Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 15 Lakh To The Wife Of Pulwama Attack Martyr Jeet Ram Gurjar

Bollywood's 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', Akshay Kumar has donated Rupees 15 Lakh to the wife of Jeet Ram Gurjar in Bharatpur in the wake of Pulwama attack which killed around 40 Indian soldiers.

One of the martyr was Jeet Ram Gurjar. According to the sources, martyred younger brother, Vikram Singh thanked Bollywood's 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' for the donation. He also said that Jeet Ram was the only earning member of the family, and the family was going through a tough time financially.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar promised to donate Rupees 5 Crore through Bharat Ke Veer foundation to the families affected by the Pulwama attack. The actor has worked as an army man for numerous movies like 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo', 'Airlift', 'Rustom'.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk among other stars have also came forward to donate and the help the affected families.
