AKSHAY KUMAR SLAMMED FOR HIS INDECENT COMMENT AT MALLIKA DUA DURING 'THE GREAT LAUGHTER CHALLENGE'

Over the past few years, Akshay Kumar has made a detour from his action star image to a comic actor. Making his foray on small screen as judge with Comedy show, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, the actor is in news for wrong reasons these days.

Recently, during the shooting of the show, Akshay Kumar’s comment on fellow judge Mallika Dua came out in bad taste. As per the show’s format, Judges are required to ring a bell as a sign of appreciation for the contestants. During one such event, while the judges were about to ring the bell, Akshay’s comment at his fellow judge Mallika Dua that goes “Aap bell bajao, main aap ko bajata hun” came out in a bad shape. Even though, the actor made the comment jokingly, it seems that the actor wasn’t aware how his statement would be perceived eventually.

Mallika Dua’s father, famous journalist Vinod Dua took strong offence for the incident and wrote a fiery post on his Facebook page saying “I am going to screw this cretin Akshay Kumar for telling his co-worker Mallika Dua that 'Aap bell bajao, main aap ko bajata hun' (You ring the bell, I will bang you)... This is his sense of humour and language... Star Plus... Wake up,”.
