Akshay Kumar To Resume Shoot With Sonu Sood For Film ‘Prithiviraj’ By This Month

Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for his film ‘Bell Bottom’ in Glasgow, will be resuming shooting for his next film ‘Prithiviraj’ with Sonu Sood by the month of October.

A member of the film’s crew told, “All preparation is in place. We resume shooting for Prithviraj in October. Akshay Sir and Sonu Sood sir will be participating in the first post-COVID schedule.”

The film has a big battle scene that now needs to be modified. “Yeah, there are battle scenes that may involve hundreds of junior artistes. These may now be shot only through CG (computer graphics),” the source added.

‘Prithviraj’ is a war period drama, and the film has several grand battle scenes. But since shooting with large crowds is not possible now due to the pandemic, the team will resort to technology to complete them.

‘Prithviraj’ is based on the life of the Chahamana king Prithviraj Chauhan. Superstar Akshay Kumar plays the title role in the high-profile film.
