Days after the makers of Total Dhamaal and Arjun Patiala announced that they will not release their film in Pakistan, Director Tigmanshu Dhulia on February 20 announced that Milan Talkies, starring Ali Fazal, Sikander Kher and Shraddha Srinath, will also not release in the neighbouring country.
The decision of not releasing the films in Pakistan is taken after a suicide bomber rammed an SUV laden with explosives into a bus in Pulwama, killing 40 CRPF jawans and injuring several others.
According to the Indian Express report, Tigmanshu Dhulia during the trailer launch of Milan Talkies said, “No, it will not be releasing in Pakistan. For two reasons. First, we stand in solidarity. Second, piracy originates from Pakistan. So we should never release our films there, irrespective of any reasons.”
Earlier, the makers have released the trailer of the film Milan Talkies. Produced by P.S. Chhatwal, the film will release on March 15.
