Former Indian cricketer Reetender Sodhi is all set to make his acting debut with PTC Box Office film ‘Umar’. Directed by Babloo Seshadarai, ‘Umar’ has an interesting and gripping plot. ‘Umar’ will go on air on June 28 at 8:30 PM only on World’s No 1 Punjabi entertainment channel, PTC Punjabi. The former cricketer took to his official Twitter handle to share a poster of the film. With his tweet, he urged his fellow cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and others to watch his debut film. He captioned the film’s poster as: “A Step Into World Of Movies From World Of Cricket...My Dearest Cricketer Friends, u have to see it for sure & Tareef Karni compulsory hai☺️?...Seeking Best Wishes Of all..@harbhajan_singh @virendersehwag @YUVSTRONG12 @sachin_rt.”

Following his tweet, cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh took to their official Twitter handles to wish the ex-cricketer all the best for his new journey. They wrote: Harbhajan Singh: “Wow ? that’s cool.. I m looking forward to see you act.. specially ur dance.. neck dance ? I remember that .. good luck for the movie brother ?.” Yuvraj Singh: “All the best Ricky ! Cha jha mundiya.” About the cricketer Reetinder Singh Sodhi is a former Indian cricketer, who was the captain of the Indian team in the Under-15 World Cup in 1996 and the vice-captain of the Under-19 side that lifted the trophy in 2000.
