AMAR SEHMBI'S 'AANKHI' BREAKS ALL STEREOTYPES OF A DEBUT PUNJABI TRACK

Amarjit Singh a.k.a.  Amar Sehmbi, the winner of 'Voice of Punjab' has taken everyone by surprise with his first Punjabi song ‘Aankhi’. Amar Sehmbi, who hails from Ludhiana came under spotlight after winning the first position of Voice of Punjab 2017.

Aankhi, which highlights the manhood and self respect of a Punjabi has hit the chord with Punjabi audience which craves for deep meaning lyrics and morale boosting soundtrack.

Amar Sehmbi’s powerful voice and the video which depicts the real life scenario has gone down really well with the Punjabi audience. Most of the debut singers who dabble in Punjabi music industry struggle to get hold of audience’s attention in their first few tracks. Contrary to that normal notion, Amar Sehmbi’s Aankhi has broken all the norms with generating more than a million views on YouTube within the first few days of its release.

Lovely Noor’s soul stirring lyrics and Beat minister’s music has left the Punjabi audience in a spell wherein people across Punjab are literally hooked on to this song.

Well, all these accolades should not surprise us because Amar Sehmbi is a born singer who started singing from his school days. Amar Sehmbi is currently pursuing his graduation from Punjab University Ludhiana.
