Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu Begin Preparations For Film Based On 1983 World Cup

Pollywood’s well-known faces Ammy Virk and Harrdy Sandhu have started working on the debut Bollywood project 83, which is based on India’s first World Cup winning team captain Kapil Dev.

In Kabir Khan’s directorial, Ammy Virk is portraying a role of former fast bowler Balwinder Singh Sandhu, who is known for knocking out Gordon Greenidge in 1983 cricket World Cup final.

Harrdy, on the other hand, is playing the role of former batsman Madan Lal, who was responsible for taking the crucial wicket of Sir Vivian Richards during the final match of 1983 World Cup against West Indies.

Both the Punjabi stars have started preparations for the movie. According to the buzz, the duo are currently taking the training under Balwinder Singh Sandhu.

Ammy Virk shared an Instagram story in which the duo can be seen having a fun time with Balwinder Singh Sandhu during their practice session.

Besides Ammy and Harrdy Sandhu, ‘83’ also stars Ranveer Singh who is portraying the role of Kapil Dev. The film is slated to release in 2020.
