Sui Dhaaga, the drama film starring Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan, hit three on September 28. Varun shared a picture from Sui Dhaaga and celebrated the film's third anniversary, but he accidentally offended Anushka.
Varun took to Twitter to pay tribute to the film's female lead. Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, took a mischievous dig at Varun for not mentioning her character's name in capital letters as soon as the post caught her attention.
“Had such a wonderful time working on this film with the entire cast and crew. Hope MAUJI and Mamta will always remain in your hearts,” wrote Varun Dhawan and tagged Anushka in his post. Anushka, on the other hand, was not amused by the fact that he did not capitalize Mamta's name.
“Excuse me sir! Why is Mamta's name not in caps?" She inquired as she reposted his Instagram Story on her own.
Varun responded by correcting the error and mentioning her name in large and bold letters. The Sui Dhaaga actor also added , “The Most special person to me on this journey CYU soon hopefully for Chup Shup.”
Sui Dhaaga was directed by Sharat Katariya and co-produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma. The story's plot revolved around the lives of a married couple from a small town. The pair collaborated to launch their own clothing company, putting their entire savings at risk.
