Atrangi Re’s trailer starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush will release tomorrow
Filming for Atrangi Re, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush, began in Varanasi in March of last year. The team will begin filming in Madurai in October 2020, followed by a program in Delhi. The creators have decided to release the game digitally. They've decided to broadcast the film on Disney+ Hotstar after considerable speculation. On November 23, 2021, the announcement was made. The trailer will be available tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the filmmakers have released early glimpses at the cast. First looks at Akshay Kumar's, Sara Ali Khan's, and Dhanush's roles were shared by Akshay Kumar. "Ek ladki...pyaar mein paagal miliye Atrangi No. 1 Rinku se kal," he wrote, introducing Sara as Atrangi No. 1. "Meet iss love storey ka Atrangi No.2, naam jiska hai Vishu!" he tweeted while presenting Dhanush as Atrangi No. 2."
He went on to say, in introducing his character, "An Atrangi fable about love's insanity. Yours truly is adding charm to this storey!"

This is Akshay Kumar's second OTT release after Laxmmi, Sara Ali Khan's first after Coolie No. 1, and Dhanush's second after Jagame Thandhiram. Meanwhile, Akshay's next film starring Aanand L Rai, Raksha Bandhan, will be released in theatres on August 11, 2022.

Atrangi Re is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films and directed by Aanand L Rai. Himanshu Sharma wrote the screenplay. AR Rahman composed the film's music, which included songs written by Irshad Kamil.
