Ayushmann Khurrana Gears Up For His Next With Director Abhishek Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to get back to work post lockdown now as the film industry prepares itself to work in this new normal world.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Abhishek Kapoor are coming together for a yet-to-be-titled romantic drama. It will have the actor in the role of a cross-functional athlete.

Khurrana, who has played diverse roles in his Bollywood career, will undergo a physical transformation for the film. Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, after directing hit films like ‘Rock On’, ‘Kai Po Che’ and ‘Kedarnath’, promises to present the actor in a never-seen-before avatar in the romantic drama.

Film analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media handle to break the news to his followers. He wrote: “IT'S OFFICIAL... #AyushmannKhurrana and director #AbhishekKapoor to collaborate for the first time... Film not titled yet.. A love story set in #NorthIndia... #Ayushmann will enact the part of a cross-functional athlete... Starts Oct 2020.”

The romantic drama will go on floors in October and will be shot in North India. It will hit theaters in 2021.
