With the huge success of his latest Hindi track ‘Teri Yad Aati Hai’, spotlight is back on Punjab’s most beloved singer Babbu Maan. The star artist, who prefers to maintain a low key profile, recently expressed his views on the recent surge ofSun show in Punjabi songs.

Addressing a press conference along with the leading lady of song’s music video, Smita Gondkar, Babbu Maan was all praises for the ‘need of love’ as according to him humans have already divided everything in the name of faith and only love can get us together.

In a befitting reply to a question about Gun culture in Punjabi songs, Babbu Maan said, “Where are the gun cultured songs played? On television, so being a channel why don’t you ban such song? YouTube, the source of such songs is already filled with immense filth why not ban it? Modi Saab can ban it, he can do anything. If he can implement GST he can implement this as well.”

This is to be noted that Punjab Police has already lauched a campaign against the gun culture in Punjabi songs and an FIR against a Sangrur based singer has been lodged for display and promotion of guns in his new song.
