Bapu Ji gets its lyrics from Sunder Makhana and is composed by Baljit Wadali. Jatinder Jeetu has given its music. Vinny Negi has choreographed it while the art work is done by Karma. AJ Arts is responsible for its publicity. The video is directed and edited by Tony RCS.

The song is about the relationship a father and son share with each other. The story revolves around a son remembering good times he used to spend with his father when he was a kid. He is now remembering the father and says that his father's teachings are now alive in only his memories. Bapu Ji is a tribute by the Punjabi singer to his father Lt. Pyare Lal Wadali, a lengendary Punjabi singer.
