BASED ON THE BATTLE OF SARAGARHI, AKSHAY KUMAR REVEALS HIS EPIC FIRST LOOK FROM 'KESARI'

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has made a massive entry into 2018. Revealing the first look of his upcoming film ‘Kesari’ on instagram, Akshay Kumar has left his fans gaping with awe with his new look for the movie which will be a joint collaboration betweeb Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar.

Brimming with elation, Akshay Kumar tweeted, ‘‘Feeling nothing but immense pride and gratitude while sharing this. Beginning my 2018 with #KESARI, my most ambitious film and a lot of passion. Need your best wishes as always”.

Based on 1879 Battle of Saragarhi, Kesari is being directed by Anurag Singh who is known for making Punjabi films like ‘Punjab 1984, Jatt and Juliet Series and Yaar Annmulle’. As you may already know, initially Salman Khan was also a part of this film but he reportedly backed out after Ajay Devgn requested him to not release another film on the same subject.

Kesari, however, is not going to be the only film based on the epic Battle of Saragarhi as Bollywood is looking at two more films on the same subject - Ajay Devgn's Sons Of Sardaar and Randeep Hooda's The Battle of Saragarhi.
