BIOPIC : THAT PEOPLE JUST CANNOT MISS

A very renowned Filmmaker of Bollywood Industry, Anurag Basu is preparing to make the biopic of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. He has been working on the script for the longest time. Anurag has called Ranbir Kapoor for the titular role. The movie was expected to start its shoot in 2017, but because Ranbir Kapoor was busy this year and could not adjust for the dates, this movie will be shot in 2018. Anurag Basu said, “Ranbir and I are certainly doing Kishore. We’d have gone into it right after Barfi. But then Ranbir got committed to Bombay Velvet. So, I decided to make Jagga Jasoos first. Kishore can’t be made in breaks and spruts. It has to be done in one long stretch.”

The biopic on Kishore is written by writer-director Somik Sen. Anurag Said, “Though the script is ready, we can’t just announce that we’re doing the film. It needs to be fool proof. There are certain legalities. We need permission and input from people associated with Kishore Kumar and mentioned in the film. Otherwise during the making or after the film releases, many might raise objection.”

So, Kishore Kumar’s fans have to wait for his Biopic for few more months. Afterall, it is a very big project and it is always said “Sabr Ka Phal Meetha Hota Hai”. So wait to taste the fruit of patience.
