Arjun Kapoor recently opened up against the 'boycott trend' and that it was unfair. However, Arjun Kapoor's remark irked the Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who called 'Ek Villain Returns' star a "flop actor".
Reacting to Arjun Kapoor's remark on the 'boycott trend', Narottam Mishra said, that Arjun Kapoor should focus on acting instead of threatening people.
He further said that "the actors, targeting Hinduism in their films, and supporting Tukde-Tukde gang should not try to threaten the public."
Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Kapoor said that he was of an opinion that they made a mistake by being silent and that their decency was taken as weakness. He added that they believed in letting work speak for itself it doesn`t matter.

He also stated that the film industry needs to unite and get to the root of the issue. On the 'cancel culture' on social media which is affecting Bollywood, Arjun Kapoor said that they tolerated it a little too much and that people are now used to it.
Soon after his remarks went viral on social media, Arjun was being brutally trolled online. Bollywood has been facing a 'boycott trend' for a long time now but it has suddenly witnessed a huge spike in such calls.
