Aishwarya Rai is notoriously private and very rarely makes public appearances, but one place you can always count on seeing her is at the Cannes Film Festival. The 44-year-old Indian actress attended the premiere of the film Girls of the Sunon Saturday (May 12) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

“The gown was created to reflect the impalpable dream of a butterfly metamorphosis. The gown took a whopping 3,000 hours to make. We worked closely with Aishwarya and her team in creating the perfect fit and making minor alterations to best suit her.", designer Michael Cincotold Harper's Bazaar.
For her red carpet appearance, Deepika wore a stunning white sheer gown with cape detailing designed by Zuhair Murad. This is Deepika’s second appearance at Cannes as the brand ambassador for a cosmetics brand. She also walked the red carpet twice last year.
