Look For What Boney Kapoor Is Up to After Sridevi's Death

The veteran actress of the B-Town Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018 at the age of 54 while she was in Dubai to attend a family wedding. Her sudden death has not only put the family in shock, but the entire film fraternity and the general people are also left awestruck for such a big loss to the Bollywood industry. She was one of the most successful actresses of her generation. She had worked in more than 300 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. She won the National Film Award of the year for her outstanding performance in "Mom".

Reportedly, her husband Boney Kapoor is planning to make a film on Sridevi. He has registered a few titles to make a documentary on the legendary actress. The three titles that he has got registered are "Sri", "Sridevi" and "Sri Ma'am". He said that there are several more unknown titles that he had registered for his project with the department of one of the producer associations of Bollywood.

While a media interaction, he said, “There are plans to make a film, but I can’t tell you whether it will be a biopic or documentary. I don’t see the need to rush into anything." Along with these titles, Bonney Kapoor is also planning to acquire the rights to other films that Sridevi was a part of and has hereby registered the titles of the films like "Chaalbaaz", "Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja", "Jaanbaaz" and "Mr.India" and even "Mr. India Returns".

Boney Kapoor has also written a heartfelt note after the death of his wife, which said, "Losing a friend, wife and mother of your young daughters is a liss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to, my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who stood by is like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Asnhua, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janvi. Together as a family, we have tried to face this unbearable loss. To the world, she was their Chandni...the actor par excellence…their Sridevi...But to me, she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls...my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything….their life. She was the axis around which our family ran.”
