Boxer Vijender Singh explains Sidhu Moose Wala's 'SYL' song, calls for 'United Punjab'
Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's song 'SYL' was released posthumously and people have been sharing the song and their views on social media. Notably, the song is based on the controversial topic SYL. Meanwhile, Indian boxer Vijender Singh took to Facebook and explained the 'SYL' song.
Sidhu Moose Wala's song 'SYL' was released on June 23 and has been on trending number 1 since then. It has already crossed 10 million views on YouTube.

Taking to Facebook, Vijender Singh wrote: "People are confused that the line in Sidhu Moose Wala's 'SYL' song, 'Forget about waters, we won't give even a drop of it'. is for whom?"

"To Haryana? To understand this, you need to go through the line 'Sanu Sada Picchokad, Ate Sadda Laana De Deyo, Chandigarh, Himachal Ate Haryana De Deyo'. This line is speaking about reuniting the families and even in the next line word 'sovereignty' is used. This means re-unite us and giving us our sovereignty. We will solve our issue ourselves," he said.

"We need to understand another line in the song, 'Kyun Pangga Naal Khahnda Firdaan, Topi Waleya', as well. Don't connect the turban to the only Sikh community as it is considered very important in Haryana and Rajasthan as well. And there are these leaders with hats, who make us fight amongst ourselves," he wrote further.
Likewise, he concluded, "This song is making only those people jealous who see terrorism in the farmers of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Western UP. #unitedpunjab"
