Watch people laughing loud at cinema halls watching COJ2:
‘Carry On Jatta 2’ is a comedy of errors, and the jokes never stop for the audience, even when their dalliance with logic reaches its breaking point. The film has successfully based its formula for success on the same premises on which its prequel become a blockbuster hit. The lead plot of COJ2 is opposite to its prequel with the female lead searching for a home full of people after marriage. In the first instalment, the leading lady Mahie (Mahie Gill) was looking for a man without family to marry.
Eight years later, the leading star cast of Carry On Jatta, Gippy Grewal, Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon and Gurpreet Ghuggi, return with the same agenda but with some cosmetic changes. For example, in the sequel the protagonist, Jass is not playing the role of Jaswinder’s son but his tenant, and Sonam Bajwa has replaced the female leading actor Mahie Gill.
The Orphan boy, Jass, played by Gippy Grewal is been finding desperate measures to pursue his ambition of going abroad. After having failed many times, he finds out that marrying an NRI girl is the easiest way to move out of India. And when he finds out a willing girl, the only obstacle remaining was of finding a family to call of his own. Smeep Kang, the director, has taken this comedy film to a more refined level by avoiding jaded dialogues.
