Amidst the talented actors in movies, it is the child artists which enthrall our interest in the movie for most of the times. Child actors play a huge part in the movies. Ever since the Hindi and Punjabi film industry has started making great movies, we have seen some of the amazing child artists donning Sikh roles.

Parzan Dastur

The 27 years old actor, Parzan Dastur, is popularly remembered for his role in the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. He played the role of a silent Sikh kid in the movie, who gained fame with his dialogue ‘Tussi Jaa Rahe Ho, Tussi Na Jao’. He was also awarded for best child artist for this role.

Anuj Pandit Sharma

Anuj Pandit Sharma is better known for his character as ‘Bittu’ in the movie ‘Koi.. Mil Gaya’. He started his acting career with this movie at the age of 11.

Sameep Singh Ranaut

Punjabi child artist, Sameep Singh Ranaut, is known for his role in movies like ‘Harjeeta’, ‘Uda Aida’, and ‘Guddiyan Patole’. The actor played the role of Ammy Virk’s childhood in ‘Harjeeta’, while in ‘Uda Aida’ he was ‘Gagan’, Fauji’s grandson.

Agam Singh

Child actor Agam Singh portrayed the role of young Sandeep in Diljit Dosanjh starrer ‘Soorma’.  The movie turned up to be a hit at the box office and Agam gained appreciation for his work.

Utkarsh Sharma

Utkarsh Sharma was seen as a Sikh kid in Sunny Deol’s hit movie ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ in 2001. He played the role of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s son, and garnered immense appreciation for his work. The 24 years old actor, has also made his adult debut with the action thriller ‘Genuis’.
