Day 1 of ‘Punjab Food Festival’ ended on a good note leaving behind so many happy moments, learning, fun, and memories that could be cherished lifelong. It’s Day 2 and there is still a lot more to be explored. Our celebrity chefs, guests, and the local chefs have still a lot more to offer on Day 2.
The entry gates were opened at 11:30 am. People explored the whole premise in search for if there was something new added to them. Some people came here for the first time to experience the Food Festival on the ending day. The first performance was done by the local artists that started at 12 noon and went on for half an hour. Now was the time for one more impactful performance for the Sufi Music lovers. Yes, the Sufi Sisters, mesmerized everyone out there with their Sufi Singing.
Now, it was 1:30 and that was the time for which people were waiting for. Dr. Pushpesh, Chef Amrita Raichand, and Siddharth Talwar did a conversation on food. This interaction session was purely based on food, health, and nutrition. It was an overwhelming experience for the new people who came there for the first time and it a learning session for the ones who had already been in the “Punjab Food Festival” on Day 1 as well.
Chef Amrita Raichand hosted a live cookery session that run from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm. It was the half hour that people loved and learnt a lot from Chef Amrita. After this cooking session, it was time for some dance performance. And how could the festival end by one more Folk Dance of Punjab. Yes, this was the time for Gabrus to do “Gatka”. This was a powerful performance that totally refreshed the audiences’ minds to made them ready for another talk session.
Chef Neelu hosted another Cookery Show that went on for half an hour which was further followed by the Punjabi Sufi Band Performance. The second conversation session started at 5 and went for another half an hour. This time Dr. Pushpesh Pant interacted with Chef Hossein Nazmi and Chef Sunil Tikoo from Kashmir. This was again a session that was based on the food information, health and nutrition. After this talk session Chef Siddharth Talwar hosted a Cookery Show from 5:45 pm to 6:15 pm.
Now, it was 7 in the clock and the Food Festival was about to end. But, how could we miss the last and the main performance of the event. After the last performance, the “Punjab Food Festival” came to an end with a good note and leaving behind so many memories and new experiences for everyone.
