Deepika Padukone And Shahid Kapoor Announce Their Entry To 'Madame Tussauds' London. Along with other Bollywood stars at Madame Tussauds, London the next to join them is the "Padmaavat" leads Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapor.   Just on Monday, the world was informed that actor Deepika Padukone’s statue will adorn the 'Madame Tussauds' museum in London and as well as in Delhi.

As per the media reports, Deepika’s London statue should be ready by early 2019, while her Delhi statue will take some more time. No time frame is known in Shahid  Kapoor's case. But, this is a good news for their fans that they are getting waxed in the museum.

The actress said in a Facebook live video from the British capital, “It’s fun, exciting and in a way I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it,” Deepika said in the announcement video.

She said that the only time she’d visited the museum was in London, with her parents when she was a child. To get the call to have her own statue exhibited made her “Very, very excited.”

“The only time I visited Madame Tussauds was in London when I was very little with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me, obviously. And then to receive a letter and now to be a part of that, and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is so iconic in so many ways so it’s really special,” she said.

Talking about Shahid Kapoor's excitement, the actor took to Instagram to reveal the same. He wrote: “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.” He can be seen holding an artificial eye close to his right eye. Next, to him, we see a hand holding a box of artificial eyes in a Madame Tussauds box.
