Did You Know? Diljit, Jimmy & Gippy Have Worked Together In A Punjabi Film

Gippy Grewal, Diljit Dosanjh and Jimmy Sheirgill are the top stars in the Punjabi entertainment industry. The trio has won several PTC Punjabi awards owing to their brilliant performances on screen. But, very few might know that the trio has worked together in a Punjabi film that broke many records at the box–office.

Here we are talking about Navaniat Singh’s directorial ‘Mel Karade Rabba’.

Released in 2010, the movie became the biggest 'Punjabi Hit Film' during that time. Written by Dheeraj Rattan, the film features Jimmy Sheirgill and Neeru Bajwa in the lead roles. Besides, ‘Oscar’ fame singer Gippy Grewal made his acting debut as the antagonist with the film.

Also, the film has Diljit Dosanjh too. ‘Lambedgini’ fame singer Diljit made a guest appearance. He portrayed the character of Rajveer Dhillon. Besides, Diljit lend his vocals for a song ‘Punjabi Munde’ in the film.

The film bagged five awards during the PTC Punjabi Film awards 2011 including Best Movie, Best Actor and Best Music Director among others.
