DILJIT DOSANJH’S MOVIE ‘SOORMA’ IS THE GREATEST COMEBACK STORY EVER

Diljit Dosanjh’s first look from the movie “Soorma” was revealed on Monday. And now the poster has been released for his movie. Diljit Dosanjh is playing the role of the Ex-Captain Sandeep Singh of the Indian National Hockey team. This story is about how he made a comeback in Hockey after being accidentally shot in 2006. Sandeep Singh injury led him to be on a wheel-chair for two years but went on to become the highest goal scorer in the qualifying match for the London Olympics in the year 2012.

Although, the title of the movie was not finalised yet, it was being said as “Flicker Singh”. But, now from the poster we have got the name of the movie that is “Soorma”. Diljit Dosanjh shared the poster of the movie and captioned it, “A hockey stick and a bullet....One gave direction to his life while the other changed it forever! #SOORMA – The greatest comeback story ever! Releasing Worldwide on 29 June.”

Interestingly, the makers of the movie have chosen Diljit Dosanjh for the role of Sandeep Singh. He is a true performer it will definitely be a treat to watch him playing this prominent role on screen. Taapsee Pannu is playing the leading lady in the movie and she is also holding a role of a Hockey Player. Both of the leads have undergone training to play the part of Hockey Players. Shaad Ali is directing the movie. The movie is slated to release in theatres on 29 June 2018.
