Dussehra 2022: Actor Prabhas to burn Raavan's effigy in Delhi's Lav Kush Ramleela

Dussehra 2022: This Dussehra, 'Baahubali' Prabhas will be burning the effigy of 'Raavan' at 'Lav Kush Ramlila' in Delhi. Just like every year, the 'Lav Kush Ramlila' committee is going to host a huge crown during the occasion of Dussehra in Delhi from September 26 onwards.

The committee is known for creating an innovative 'Pandal'. For this, year, the committee is going to create Ayodhya's Ram Mandir-themed pandal at Red Fort lawns.

Actor Prabhas aka 'Baahubali' will grace the event on Dussehra 2022 which falls on October 5.

Arjun Kumar, the chief head of Lav Kush Ramlila committee, revealed his plans for this Dussehra. . He said, Prabhas is already playing the role of Lord Rama in film 'Adipurush' then who would be better than him to set the effigy of Raavan on fire.

He added that there will be three effigies - each of Raavan, Kumbh Karan, and Meghnaad. Prabhas will shoot the arrow in the air to burn each of them. This year, the effigies will be 100 ft tall.

Earlier, Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and John Abraham were part of the committee's Dussehra celebrations.

Notably, the 10-day-long Dussehra festivities will kickoff on September 26 and will conclude on October 5. Dussehra is celebrated to marl the triumph of good over evil as Lord Ram had killed Raavana on this day.
