#EarthDay2020: Know How EcoSikh Is Making People Aware Of The Environmental Issues

April 22, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of the Earth Day and the world is probably celebrating it by being inside their homes and letting the nature take its course to heal from the mishaps the human beings have caused.

While the Earth Day is being celebrated, the environment friendly Sikh organization, EcoSikh is making the people aware of the environmental crisis, and has been dealing with the same. The organization joined the 30th anniversary of the Earth day in Washington in the year 2000.

They have been planting samplings throughout the world to pay homage to nature and plant more trees in the world to get a greener and environmental friendly earth.

However, the Sikh joined hands with the founder of Earth day through the Eco Sikh organization and incorporate the Sikh teachings in the environment. Sikh children from the Guru Gobind Singh Foundation had performed Kirtan at the National Mall during the Earth Day celebrations. Some Sikhs from Norway were also part of this celebration.

2000 was the first year that Earth Day used the Internet as its principal organizing tool, and it proved invaluable nationally and internationally.

Now, the conditions of the planet is not so good and apparently due to this coronavirus pandemic it is healing itself and trying to tell the people to slow down a bit and recover through the loss.
