In a shocking incident, one person died in the fire that broke out on the sets of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's upcoming untitled film on Friday.
According to information, Dr Sadaphule of the Cooper Hospital confirmed that the 32-year-old man was brought dead after a level 2 fire broke out in Mumbai's Andheri West on Friday.
Reportedly, the fire broke out at around 4:30 pm on Friday, at the Chitrakoot studio in the Andheri West. Meanwhile, the photos and videos of the black smoke blowing in the air surfaced online on social media.
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were about to kick off shooting for their Mumbai schedule soon. However, now the shooting has been delayed due to the fire incident.
The fire that broke out at 4:30 pm was extinguished at around 10:35 pm on Friday, as per the Mumbai Fire Brigade.
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha recently wrapped up the Spain schedule of their upcoming romantic-comedy drama. This also marks the first on-screen collaboration for Ranbir and Shraddha.
Apart from them, the film also features Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. The film is set for theatrical release on March 8, 2023.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was recently seen in Yash Raj Film's 'Shamshera' and will be next seen in the upcoming sci-fi action film 'Brahmastra Part one: Shiva', alongside Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
