From Amrit Maan To Sidhu Moose Wala: Punjabi Celebs To Support Farmers’ Protest On September 25

The nation is currently going through a lot as the COVID cases are rising and new bills are being passed, which are not being accepted by the common people.

Recently, a new ordinance has been passed which is affecting the livelihood of farmers and so the farmers are on the road protesting the government to take back the passed bill.

Punjabi stars like Sidhu Moose Wala, Amrit Maan, Diljit Dosanjh, Satinder Satti, Harbhajan Maan among others are supporting the protest by farmers against the government. The Pollywood stars are going to be a part of the protest on September 25.

Meanwhile, the farmers are demanding a rollback of the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Ordinance, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Ordinance, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.

Besides the farmers, the commission agents are also opposing these ordinances. They also fear that the new laws will bypass their business and they will be rendered jobless.
