Gippy Grewal to collaborate with Comedy King Smeep Kang for a new project
Smeep Kang and Gippy Grewal have worked in many films like ‘Carry On Jatta’, ‘Carry On Jatta 2’, ‘Lock’ and there are many more upcoming films of the two. The duo has usually done comic films together but for the very first time, they are going to bring an emotional and different story together.

The upcoming film is titled ‘Widow Colony 84’ which is produced by Gippy Grewal and written and directed by Smeep Kang.
The film is based on the Tilak Vihar Colony of Delhi. The women who lost their husbands in the Sikh riots of 1984 made this colony bring their lives back on track.

The film will star Gurpreet Ghuggi in it where the comedy king Smeep Kang will be directing totally new genre in film. On the riots of 1984 many films have been made earlier where one of the popular films was ‘Punjab 1984’ featuring Diljit Dosanjh.

This film was earlier announced by Gippy but now he has shared the poster with the release date of the film. The film is slated to release in theaters on 3rd June 2022 under Humble Motion Pictures.
Apart from this film Gippy Grewal has many other films lined up for release including ‘Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi’, ‘Shave Ni Girdhari Lal’, ‘Ma’, ‘Paani Ch Madhani’, ‘Snowman’ and a few more.
