Gumraah: Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur's crime thriller's title announced
Aditya Roy Kapur- Mrunal Thakur: For the very first time Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur are set to share the screen space with their upcoming crime-thriller. The makers have announced the film's title 'Gumraah'.
For the unversed, Gumraah is a Hindi version of the blockbuster Tamil film 'Thadam', which was released in 2019. The film is based on true events and stars Aditya Roy Kapur in a whole new avatar whereas Mrunal Thakur will be seen as a cop.

As per the sources, Aditya has recently the first schedule of the film and will soon begin for the second one whereas Mrunal who has already begun the second schedule with Ronit Roy in Mumbai will shortly join the shoot with Aditya.
Aditya expressed his excitement and desire to be a part of such a "interesting story" when asked about the role. "The initial film was really compelling and entertaining, and it left a lasting impression on me," he continued. "I'm getting an opportunity to play a double role, which means double the preparation and challenge" said Aditya.
Mrunal went on to say that she wanted to do the film as soon as she heard the story. "My character is fascinating, and I've always wanted to play a cop. This will be a totally different character for me than any of the others I've played before, and I'm excited for audiences to see it " quoted Mrunal.
'Gumraah' is being helmed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar whereas it is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.
