Veteran singer Asha Bhosle is celebrating her 85^th birthday today. After almost six decades of singing in 20 Indian languages and foreign language too, the beautiful melody queen is one of the greatest singers Indian Music Industry has ever seen.

Her songs have been everyone's favourite for generations now and continue to be popular even today.

Bhosle's work includes film music, pop, ghazals, bhajans, traditional Indian classical music, folk songs and qawwalis among others.

In 2011, she was officially acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most recorded artist in music history.
