Well-known Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi is celebrating his 50^th birthday today. Born in Gurdaspur, Punjab on February 7, he raised to fame with his 1998 song ‘Dil Le Gayee Kudi Gujarat Di’.

Jasbir Singh Bains, is a Punjabi singer, lyricist, performer and actor. Apart from being a successful singer-lyricist, Jassi is an actor as well, who has featured in a few Punjabi movies like ‘Khushiyaan’ and ‘Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar’.

He released his first album ‘Channa Ve Teri Channani’ in 1993 and then went on to release albums like ‘Dil Le Gayee’, ‘Kudi Kudi’, ‘Mukhda Chann Varga’ among others.
