Comedy king Kapil Sharma is celebrating his 38^th birthday today. Born in Amritsar in Punjab, Kapil Sharma became a household name soon after he won the comedy reality show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2007. He then went on to feature in various comedy shows like ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Ustaadon Ka Ustaad’ among others.

In 2013, Kapil launched his own show, Comedy Nights with Kapil. He then went on to hosts various shows like ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ among others with different entertainment channels.

Besides, Kapil featured in various Bollywood movies as well. He made his acting debut with 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' in 2015.

Following his success, Kapil made it to Forbes' Richest Indian Celebrity List 2017 and bagged 17th spot.
