She is known for her appearances in films like Tezaab, Ram Lakhan, Tridev, Saajan, Beta, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Khalnayak and others. 5. Madhuri was one of the highest-paid Hindi film actresses in the late 1980s and 1990s. According to the Buzz, Madhuri received about Rs 2.7 crore for Hum Aapke Hain Koun, much more than the amount her co-actor Salman Khan was paid.
6. She had delivered nine back-to-back flops between 1984 and 1988.
7. She married Los Angeles based Dr Shriram Madhav Nene on October 17, 1999
8. In 2008, she was awarded with Padma Shri, the fourth-highest Indian civilian award, by the Government of India for her contribution in Hindi cinema.
