Happy Birthday Ranveer Singh! Did You Know He Worked As A Copywriter Before Making His Debut With ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’?
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is celebrating his birthday today. The actor is one of the quirkiest actors of Bollywood with his quick wit, bizarre fashion and absolutely amazing energy.
The actor who made his debut in 2010 as Bittoo Sharma in Band Baaja Baaraat has reached to an epitome of Bollywood in just 9 years. Well, nobody would have thought that Ranveer will rule box-office with his back to back films and will win critical acclaim as well.
After completing a bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington, Ranveer returned to India to pursue a career in film. He briefly worked in advertising as a copywriter and made his acting debut in 2010 with a leading role in Yash Raj Films' romantic comedy ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’.
Once when he had gone for a birthday party, his grandmother asked him to dance and entertain her. He remembers that he suddenly jumped in the lawn and started dancing to the song "Chumma Chumma" from the 1991 action film, ‘Hum’. He felt the thrill of performing and was interested in acting and dancing.

He has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2012, peaking at the seventh position in 2019.
